After the tragic events of the October 1st mass shooting in Las Vegas, it seemed the community of Las Vegas bonded together stronger than ever before. That unity was on full display at three local parades in the Las Vegas area in October, November and December. Levy Production Group had the pleasure of fully producing broadcasts of these parades for our client Cox Communications so they could be widely viewed and enjoyed by local audiences on TV for weeks past the actual live events. To capture these large live events, LPG sends out a crew complete with a tricaster-flypack, three hard cameras and a jib camera. All parade broadcasts air many times for a period of a few weeks on Cox’s Yurview Las Vegas channel.

The annual Las Vegas PRIDE Parade took place in Downtown Las Vegas on October 20, 2017 celebrating the LGBT community as well as paying tribute to the victims, survivors and first responders from the shooting earlier that month.

The annual Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade took place in Downtown Las Vegas on November 11, 2017, honoring the United States military veterans and their families. This parade is said to be the largest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi.

The annual Santa’s Electric Night Parade in Boulder City took place on December 2, 2017, showcasing holiday cheer and community spirit.
